Spanish Immersion Program

Lorem Ipsum Dolor

Helping your children become bilingual

Your Pre-K4—1st grade child has the opportunity to start learning all of their core subjects in Spanish through the Spanish Immersion program at Calvary Christian Academy.

In a language immersion program, the classroom environment becomes the setting for language acquisition through subject content instruction and social interaction. Essentially, Spanish is integrated into the students’ everyday life.

Spanish Immersion Curriculum

CCA partners with add.a.lingua, an organization that develops cutting edge instructional materials, teacher and administrator training, program guidelines, and community engagement focused on dual language immersion education.

Students will receive 100% of their academic instruction in Spanish, but Specials classes such as STEM, art, music, Physical Education, computers, and drama will continue to be taught in English.

Applying for the Spanish Immersion Program

Students may apply to enroll in the program from Pre-K4 through 1st grade, and have the opportunity to continue in the program up to 8th grade.

In 3rd grade, students will be taught one or more of their academic subjects in English to increase exposure to critical terminology and strategies in both languages.

Why choose Spanish Immersion for your child?

We believe that students deserve the opportunity to benefit from quality dual immersion opportunities that ensure high proficiency in more than one language at no cost to English language performance.

The Spanish Immersion program can not only succeed in helping your child become fluent in a second language, but can also give them several socialacademic, and professional advantages in the future.

This program can also equip your child to use his or her gifts and talents to converse, work, and even spread the gospel of Jesus Christ in other Spanish-speaking countries.
